A question for Intel X25-M G2 owners.

I intend on buying an Intel X25-M 160GB SSD for my new build in a couple of weeks time. Could those of you with this drive (or the 80GB one) please tell me if you noticed any real performance hit as the drive filled up with data? I have been reading around and I can't really find a satisfactory conclusion on the issue.

Can't say i've felt any difference on my 80GB, which has certainly been fully used by now (i.e more than 80GB written to it since the last secure-erase)

It is benching a little slower, but I'm not feeling it.

Thanks Zarf, I'm not really concerned with synthetic benchmarks, real usage was all I was worried about. Glad to hear you've not felt the burn so to speak

Afraid I didn't Noto, It was in stock elsewhere. I'm loyal to OCUK (And free delivery
