A real Mondeo?!

one thing i dont understand is they have gone to all that expense to armour plate it, why do they do it to a standard cheapo LX one, why not get a half decent one?

I wonder what performance is like, id imagine it would be very heavy...

Get it remapped and yer wouldn't notice :p

I however wonder, can it suffer from parking dents still? :D

My Dad bought an ex-RUC armoured Mk2 Mondeo 2.0 petrol a few years ago, didn't pay anything like that for it though.

It was incredibly heavy and topped out about 85mph. It served its purpose for a few months and he sold it to a couple of villans for more than he paid for it!

Probably just the exterior which is bland tbh. I'd imagine the interior is fully kitted out.

But its got hubcaps!!!!
Why would the interior be kitted out if its got lx style hub caps.

it's custom built, and designed to blend in. i dont give LX mondeos a second look, but a titanium x or ST always gets noted

I don't think its a heavy as you guys think, CEN B6 standard means its good enough to protect from an AK47 round from a 90 Degree angle but i won't take hits like a rocket / grenade launcher / mines etc.

Glass is replaced with armoured stuff, and it has all the areas such as pillars / door skins lined with light ballistics armour.
