WJA92 has/had a 1972 works one of these. Think he raced it a few times. Originally belonged to Tom Trana IIRC.

The one pictured on an 'R' plate is one of the last produced for the UK and had the later Saab 99 type rubber bumpers. The last few sold in the UK were all 1977/78 MY 'R' and a couple of 'S' registration cars all in metallic dark red, the Souvenir series.

my dad's currently in the process of restoring a 96, it is unfortunately a beige/brown colour and not my cup of tea, coming along okay though but very slowly lol. :)

sorry for the off topic :)
yeah, thats the colour lol :D Any reccomendations on places to get parts? My dad needs headlights, wiper blades and the bumpers (front and back) We've got in contact with Hagstrom Saab but waiting on a reply! :)

Dont hold your breath waiting for a reply from them.....

I travelled from the West Midlands to Norfolk to see what was reputed to be (by Hagstrom) a beautiful example of a C900 T16 ....

When I got there well.....

Operating from a house with what looked like a scrap yard behind it...

The car in question was a complete and utter pup.......It was so bad in fact I never even sat in it or started the engine....

I felt like asking for my petrol money as I had been invited there under false pretenses......

If its parts your after you could do worse than to try UKSaabs (a web forum) .....

Lots of friendly (and some not so :D ) enthusiasts .....
