A thought on the 'Search' threads.

Also the couple of 'New Post' button threads.

How about a sticky be made here in GD, stating these changes. Or a page that preceeds this forum, stating the current status of things.

The amount of threads being closed is mental, clearly it shows that people do not see the closed threads (due to the frequency of new threads here in GD), or the closed ones get deleted.
People cannot use 'Search' to find search button related threads ;]

No doubt I will be told 'this has been done before but people ignore it'.

I seem to remember only a certain number of threads can be stickied at a time, meaning they would have to remove one of the current stickies. They could put it in one of the existing ones (maybe the 'useful links, info. Please read before posting' one) - not that I think many people would read it.

They're only going to be gone for a few days iirc so there's not that much need.

I believe that is just to keep the pages looking tidy so half the first page isn't stickied threads, but more can be added.

Any idea when the "Search" function will be back as it was working earlier then it all of a sudden when I pressed back said I didnt have rights or something and I couldnt see it anymore.

Kind of weirded me out lol

Is admin changing the way it searches or something, just logged on and no other search threads i could find shed any light on why it's down for a bit?
