A "uninterruptible power supply" is a good idea if you have a printer

Yep I run one for my printer and pc/servers :)

Printer for obvious reasons, server for data protection as a random power off won't do it much good. My pc for if I'm doing a long flight in flightsim :D

I have a generator too, so I plug the UPS into the generator when the batts get low... But you need either a inverter generator or a "generator friendly UPS" because the a standard generator producing dirty power with the voltage constantly fluctuating and a UPS is all about outputting clean power to your devices

This is with the UPS plugged in to the generator and as you can see the voltage input from the generator is about 228 but its fluctuating, so the UPS locks the output voltage to a solid 239(240) (should be 230, but mains voltage never drops below 240, so that why I have it set at 240)
