    Hi

My girlfriend's a designer and needs an A3 colour professional quality printer; does anyone here have any experience of a3 printers? Any recommendations?
What kind of money is it worth spending on this? Is laser the way to go?
Would be for use with Photoshop and Illustrator, and would need ideally a scanner.....
Don't think our budget would stretch much beyond a grand.

In work we use 2 HP Business Inkjet 2800, One for CAD drawing and the other for the art department.

Seems good for high quality art prints.

I would buy a separate scanner.

hmm - the build quality looks much like a home inkjet..
is it not more economical to go laser? wouldn't mind spending more at the outset for something that will last longer and have more print capacity per cartridge/toner thingy.

Also what is the diff between laser and laserjet? Anyone know..?
