A8-5600k Build - SSD Upgrade

Built a computer back 5.5years ago for Mum based around 8Gb of Team Group Elite RAM and a A8-5600k.

SSD is now full and pc is freezing and generally slowing up every now and then. To be honest it does r get much use.

Is the following approach the most sensible:

New SSD.
Fresh copy of W10 (currently W7)

Fresh copy of Windows or even reinstall would speed things up, get most space for your cash

Able to back up your data ?

Crucial MX500 500Gb should see the pc out till it dies, if it ever does.

Yeah able to backup most of the neccessary data so shouldn't be an issue.

Don't think it's worth increasing RAM as 8Gb should be plenty for what they use it for (Word Processing, Internet, Google Earth, a little photoshop).
