Finished putting everything together this morning and, joy of joys, it won't post.
It gets as far as POST code 25:
"Early PCI Initialization:
I'm guessing it might be the graphics card but have tried two (working) cards with the same result. With the HIS card the fan runs up to max speed and stays there instead of dropping down again. CMOS has been cleared, system powered off etc.
Anyone got any ideas?

- Enumerate PCI bus number
- Assign memory and I/O resource
- Search for a valid VGA device VGA Bios, and put into C000:0
