Are you kidding? They were one of the best manufacturers of motherboards ever, one of the questions back in the day was : Asus or Abit? etc..

Still, 80 quid for a P35 board with PCIe 1.x etc.. bit steep, P45 or X38 i can see but not a P35 :D
 
I still have one.
Reading this thread made me a bit nostalgic.
I always was an ABIT fan.

Unfortunately they lost there way after the NF AMD series.
Oscar defected to DFI and ABIT's board designs suffered losing there appeal

Who can't remember with fondness the BP6
All there BX's were excellent also.

The IP35 XE is a nice board, a last hurrah from ABIT.
Overclocks really well for a P35 and has no trouble keeping my q9550 at 4Ghz.
Hangs on in there with 8Gigs of DDR2 1066 as well, a lot of boards wouldn't.
