Definitely need to order today as my old rig has died in spectacular fashion, despite bursting into life again last night!

Do I need any cables or is everything supplied with the mobo/drives?

Also, I could probably stretch another £50 or so if there's anything I can get which will make a major difference :)

Many thanks for the kind advice thus far :D

scrap that case and get a PC-7 plus or something with a better PSU.

Other than that looks great :)

Will that memory be ok if I decide to go for overclocking of the CPU? Not bothered before in the past but might give it a bash this time round :)

The PC-7 Plus looks sexy, but don't the Lian Li cases have an odd design where the PSU may cause problems with fitting the HSF? At least I remember this from some of the older cases.

If not, I'll get a PC-7 Plus - but how about the Enermax Liberty 400 (or 500W) PSUs?

Just got everything into my new PC-7 last night and had no problem, very solid case. I'm using the freezer 64 pro which is just the A64 version of 7 pro.

Just make sure you install the PSU first!! because PSU with 120mm fan at the bottom will not go through from the rear depends on the fan grill, so you need to install it from inside the case, which is impossible if motherboard & HSF are already installed.

yeah defo get a PC-7 and a corsair HX520 and your sorted.

Hurrah.. .just got to put up with using my girlfriend's Celery machine for now :)

Thanks a bunch for all your help guys. Has skinted me a bit until payday but the new beast will save me spending so much time in the pub anyhow :D

Best to spend the money on something half decent rather than a cheapo rig to tide me over I guess :D

very nice setup there :) the ram shold be fine ok for overclocking cause you can lower the ram divider soo even though you overclocking your ram dont allways have to run faster than its designd for.

Cheers guys. No doubt I'll be bugging you all once I have it built. One thing I'm unfamiliar with is the memory timings - I've not googled it yet (last time I did this is was CAS timings either 3 or 2). Once I have the thing stable though I'll try to push it up a bit, although not to record-breaking results as I cba to sort out Arctic Silver Thermal Compound etc.

I really appreciate the input I've had as it's actually made me upgrade rather than buy a POS to tide me over :)
