Hi guys

Going to order later on today but just want to make sure everything is compatible

I am going to make a low cost pc. I have a few old parts from my computer that i will put into it: Corsair CX500 and 8GB of ram and a vantage gaming case

These are the specs that i have come up with:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM (GFC-02733) £73.99
1 x Western Digital Caviar Green 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (WD5000AZRX) **SINGLE PLATTER** HDD £38.99
1 x MSI A55M-E33 AMD A55 Chipset (Socket FM2) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £33.95
1 x AMD A4-4000 3.00GHz (Socket FM2) APU Richland Dual Core Processor (AD4000OKHLBOX) £29.99
Total : £186.52 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Would that all be okay to use together? Its for my 80 year old granny so it does not need to anything good.

Thanks for any comments in advance

The WD Green series are only 5400rpm and really, really slow for an operating system drive. They're designed for storage. Get a WD Blue instead - 7200rpm and better designed to be your primary drive.

Can't see a problem with it, but do what Ted said.

I think your going to want to remove that amazon link though. Even though I don't think OCUK sell that case they still might see it as a competition link.
