About to get the new macbook 2.2 under full education discount.
Going to chuck in a 2gb crucial module to bring it up to 2.5GB
Then chuck windows on with boot camp for dual use (mostly OSX mind ;))
Will be my second mac, my first being one of the first Mac Mini PPCs to come into the UK :)

Question are really,
Whats the best value for money case for it?
How long do we think apple will take to deliver it?

With boot camp are there any issues when installing windows - i.e installing the right drivers etc? Is there a good website to read? Do i just download BC from apple as an application?

Cheers

:)

I'm not custom building it though - its going to be a stock product?

I'm buying the crucial memory separately :)

I'll look out for the neo cases.

Fantastic , thats what i like to hear :) :( Hm i should order it this morning really but the guy who gave me his number is not in until 10am :( Do they get commission?

Edit:

Im leaving at 10 and won't b back until 5:30/6 :(

Don't need to blag HE discount :) I am a uni student haha. And yea he did the same, which i can understand, plus he was really helpful informing me about 3 Year apple care etc. I presume you got the 3 year apple care too?

Ordered it :)

Question for anyone. Is it really worth getting the 64bit version of Windows XP rather than the Windows XP 32bit Home edition?

I actually found Vista Home Premium for cheap as cheaps so got that instead. Ultimately i'll be using OSX mostly, just got vista just in case :)
