Well thats true, but it's still pretty damned despicable in my opinion. Maybe it's because war dead can't defend themselves or the people responsible are ignorant of historical fact ........ who knows.

I'd go as far as to say that the people responsible are certainly aware of historical fact (as written by the victors...as always ) and are merely being childish.

Well I know people who are childish, both children and adult and I am not above childish humour but not one of them would daub Nazi slogans on a war memorial.

Immigrants or not, I really don't care.

The act itself is simply not justified no matter what your beliefs or Staus.

In Al Rumaylah in Iraq, there is a British war cemetary from the days of Townshend's campaign against the Ottoman Empire in WWI and the Iraqis' make sure it is in pristine condition, despite the current troubles over there.

It's common courtesy, decency and respect. Something the guilty party here clearly doesn't grasp.
