Absolute weapon

Quite subtle too.

How has it been converted to 4wd?

Some nice bits on that, including the Quaife dog cut box :D

Do you realise what money has gone into that car.

Why is 10k having a laugh, its a supercar beater.

Hi there

It is truly a fantastic car which is seriously quick, well to 100mph anyway. However its certainly no supercar beater. :)

Probably a Syncro shell.

EDIT

It is a Syncro, my mate had a 5 door one in a light blue which was quite nice.

Rallye running gear

but only the running gear sadly, I'm not a huge Mk2 fan, but nothing says beast quite like the rallyes arches and lights!

still yes time and money has ben spent on that car, seen the same done to a MK1 and that would be even more larey!

Oof bet that it quick!

Serious question, how would it handle exactly? Not up on my Golfs really sorry (well apart from the lardy mk4!)

Surely getting 370bhp from a 1.8 is going to be a bit interesting aint it?

lag....lag....lag......BOOOOOOOST!!!!!!

:p

Standard handles, G60 Steels and sprayed back to a colour available on the MK2 would make it even better.

Golfs with that amount of power need to look relatively stock in my opinion.

Bet it shifts though

Do you even know what you are looking at?

Yes mate, im a big VW fan, especially mk1/2/3 golfs and polos. And theres no doubt its one hell of a car, and a good example. Its worth 10k as well, but you would have to seriously love that to spend £10,000 on an almost 20 year old golf with a powerful engine and uprated suspension (Yes i know theres more too it than those). I have huge respect for the car, and i guess i worded my first post wrong, i wouldn't ever spend 10k on a 18 year old golf.

Oh and don't patronize me :)

Now that is a proper toy!

There's nothing wrong with spending money on an old Golf! ;)
