Post whatever accidents you were in today! And also what you've learned from them.
I was playing softball st school today, the pitcher threw the ball, I hit it awkwardly so it only went about 2/3 of the way to first base, but due to the side hit it was spinning like mad; I ran to first base, but due to the spin it bounced miles away from the fielder's hands.
I ran to second base. The guy thought I'd stopped running, so he threw it to the pitcher, but he saw me running to 3rd and so threw it there.
By this time the next batter had stepped up as he didn't expect me to go past 1st. I continued running, straight through 3rd as the guy didn't have his foot on the base. I was at full pelt by now (I'm a 11-13 second 100m sprinter if you want some idea of how quick full pelt is). BAM! I ran straight into the next batter, smashing him with collosal force (I'm also 12 stone
). He went flying back, and I got hit in the head with the heavy metal bat.
I now have a massive lump just above my hairline, and now know that I should not be on the same team as idiots, and also to look where I'm running (I realise the irony of these two, but I was looking at the ball, and he shouldn't have been there
).
