They do 8mb uncapped.

29.95 + Vat with 400k upload (50:1)
39.95 + Vat for 800k upload (20:1)

Anyone know if they're any good? Only downfall I can see is it's a 12 month contract. But its more expensive then evolution so may not get swamped with too many heavy users...

They been around for 8 years i beleive some people have connected on adslguide forum and they think good service so far.

Ive been looking into these or Evolution DSL not so sure what one to go to yet myself.

PS- Also a guy who works for them is on the forum i think the posts are in unlisted provider and what ISP Residential.

Still not viable for unlimited, and being tied in for a year seems...dodgy.
Indeed. With the ever changing ISP reliability, I wouldn't touch a 12 month contract with a very large barge pole.

its not 12months, its only 3, unless ive miss read something. still wouldnt go with them though (i went with evolution) the charge £30 so £5 more and likly to be no better. plus with evolution i can move after just 1 month.

EDIT: its actually £30+Vat

tbh the best service ive had so far without problems or dropped connecitons(before maxdsl) out of Nildram, Zen, BT is bt by a long way just they got crap caps but so have zen now so time to move on.

Oh yeah, wonderful. BT Broadband's not likely to go bang within the 12 months for one...

Everyone knows lots of people just give 1 or 10 so you can hardly use that as a measure of service, but bt got above average in all of the results so how can you say thats bad service?

If they fill in numbers just to get on to the next page, they need to learn to read - they're optional.
On a par with Plusnet pretty much says it all, not that it's relevant to what I was saying...

But ignoring all that (since it's completely OT), being tied in for a year with an ISP that's virtually guaranteed to go bust, vs an ISP that (however iffy) isn't. Spot the difference.

Surely if the company goes bust your free to move then anyway? Cant have a contract with a company that doesn't exist.

They won't necessarily go bust either. I for one am quite happy to pay more for better service. I pay £24.99 for my demon 2meg and i'm happy with it because everyone i know on a cheaper service suffers a poorer service. And that also untill recently was 12 month contract too. I'll keep on paying it as i'm sure the service will reamain good through the 8meg upgrades as it did the 2 meg ones.

Generally you get what you pay for, but if you really wanna know how the company is doing, look at the share price and financial figures.
Look at netgear kit vs Cisco kit for example. Cisco costs LOTS LOTS more for what is essentially the same peice of stuff, they aint going bust any time soon.

Yeah, but try getting a MAC off a company that doesn't exist ;)

If they go bust you get the hassle of getting them off your line then a full re-activation (£40+VAT unless you go for another 12month contract with someone else)

They'll have to close the account and go through the closure process and then be off your line. If the account is not officially cancelled then you can still debit money at it and that leaves them aquiring money by deception. Bit illegal.

ending of contract will include MAC. If you don't get it, you take them to trading standards because that's not the advertised process for end of service.

You can't take a non-existant company to trading standards, and it doesn't help if they only go as far as everything slowing to a crawl.
