Acer laptop advice

Do Acer laptops have a restore facility? Mate has a 2 year old one and he is not sure. Thought i would ask on here before i go and take a look at it. Thanks

Model of Laptop would be helpfull as would checking the documentation that came with the laptop, which is usually also on the laptop itself, might I suggest that a good look at the Start>All Programs list is a good place to start?

Don't know what model it is. Just trying to get some general info as mate is away so can't tell me anything about laptop! He has left it at his house of which i have the key and going there later.
