Actor Tom Sizemore sentenced to jail

Actor Tom Sizemore has been sentenced to 16 months in prison for violating the terms of his probation in connection with a drugs charge.

He "abused the privilege of probation and needs to be in a lockdown setting," ruled Judge Cynthia Rayvis at Los Angeles' Superior Court.

Sizemore, whose screen credits include Saving Private Ryan, will be sent to a facility with a noted drug programme.

At least the courts do jail some celebrities I guess.

I'm sorry but people with drugs problems who don't go out robbing others to feed their habit should NOT be jailed.

Jail is entirely the wrong place for this kind of person, he needs help not punishment.

Yep, it's Paris Hilton that should have been in jail for 16 months, and this guy in for 24 days and then receiving help.
