I was just browsing and I thought I would try a few of the comparison sites again, I previously tried moneysupermarket.com and as expected I got a higher quote than going direct to Admiral.
Tried moneysupermarket again tonight and the quote is cheaper by ~£70. I assumed this must be because Admiral have lowered their prices. Ran a new quote direct on Admiral, and it is cheaper than the original although still £10 more than the one through moneysupermarket.com
Odd, I had always thought and from experience that going through comparison sites works out more expensive.
Anyone got any tips to try and haggle the quote down even more on the phone? Currently stands at £919.30 for 12months. I think I might as well go for 12months now as its (relatively) cheap and I have no idea how insurance premiums might change next year.
