ADSL only connecting at 1.1Mbs

Hi

For some reason my DSL is only connecting at 1.1Mbs when it should be connecting at 8Mbs. I am using a Voyager 105 USB modem on Plusnet Premier package.

My mate round the corner who uses PlusNet standard with a Voyager 105 is connecting at 8Mbs, any ideas ?

Also what ISP and Router would you reccomend?

You haven't been regraded to MaxDSL yet or your line can't handle more than 1.1mbps.

Plusnet aren't regrading everyone at the same time.
