Hi guys, I've always been on cable so have no idea about ADSL so need some advice. My sister was round the other day and she was discussing how her partner now works from home quite often and is fed up of just sitting in the study doing work when when he could just sit in the lounge.

The thing is, they're with BT who give them cheaper phone calls (presumably via VOIP or similar, phone plugs into router and they have a seperate number etc for this, instead of the standard phone line they have). I was quite happily suggesting routers as from what I had read on here, like the netgears and what not, then realised that these routers won't have the facility to make these calls etc.

Are there any decent third party routers that will have the facility like the BT voyager router they have, or would they be better off just ringing BT and getting the router which they suggest?

Sorry for the questions, I've done some searching but didn't find anythng conclusive.

cheers for your time,
kol.
