So, I’m in Vietnam. Been travelling for a few months, thailand, Cambodia and here, and should have another two. Heading back home as soon as possible after a vietnamese guy last night decided to beat the hell out of me with a stick as I walked home and steal everything I have, so life’s got a bit odd.

I wake up today bleeding from the face, hands and knees, can hardly walk as something in my knee’s screwed, and have nothing. Woop.

Just came here for some light entertainment, posted as I need to vent a little bit, travelling alone at the moment and a little bit shaken. Moral : Don’t get beaten up in an alley by a guy with a stick.

On the plus side, I get to talk about my wounds from ’nam.

Edit the swearie quickly dude:eek:

Sorry to hear about your beating at the hands of a fella who had a stick with him. Next time u come across someone like that, i suggest you take a running kick at his crown jewels...then take the stick off him and beat him around a bit :p:D...

Anyways hope your injuries heal soon:)

Ah cheers for the heads up, I've clearly been away for too long, just a little angry and such :)

Travelling alone and meeting new people is usually great fun, but yeah, things like this do happen - I was with a friend until 3 days ago, and was meant to go to meet him tomorrow...

Bah. Cheers for the messages anyway..

Unlucky mate.

Thats the problem I find with traveling, wrong place, wrong time.

Or if a civil war kicks off then get yourself to the bar. Right place, wrong time although you would probably be more safe than ever :)
