Hi

I need to know how big the heatsink on the ICH9R chip is? Is there any chance it may get it the way of a dual-slot Graphics card

I don't have one but from pics the cooler looks low.
Any decent mobo manufacturer knows to not make em higher than a pcie slot because otherwise (in this case anyway) they'd be making all dual slot gfx cards not fit it.

So it should be fine.

I've had no problems with mine and I have a 7950GX2 with the spacer kit fitted (and I had no problems without the spacer kit either).

Yep I got everything installed today and it all fits really nicely... I really like the layout of this mobo to be honest

it won't get in the way, the heatsink is the wrong side on the pcb for the northbridge heatsink to matter.

oh yeah, well that's lower than the top of the pci-e slot anyway, so don't worry about it.
