Hi, I am in the market for a cheap, multifunction printer. I currently have an antique Epson CX3200 which does scanning, printing and acts as a photocopier.
It is about 5 years old, and it is beginning to get a bit odd. It is streaking ink, jamming a lot and generally making tired noises.
I was thinking about a nice new Epson DX4400 or a DX4450. Same price at £39.99 from a few high street retailers.
I don't want a HP or a Lexmark as carts are stupid money. Don't need a laser, speed isn't too vital. Mainly to be used for documents, and some pictures. My current CX3200 does really good A4 borderless photo prints. It takes about 6 minutes a print, but really good.
Any other options available, or any opinions on my choices so far?
I'm not dead set on Epson, but my current printer is really good at its job. I bought it for £80 when multifunction printers were a new idea!
