Advice on buying triple monitor or 3D

Looking to buy monitor soon since i have been using the 40" for while but couldn't stand using that big screen up close. Mainly use for gaming and opening many browsers when surfing but a lot people mentioning 3D monitor so are their any pro and con for both type?

I have ATI 5970 is that compatible with 3D, my budget probably £400-600

ati drivers don't support 3D. sorry bud.

You have to get 3rd party drivers, i.e. iZ3D or TriDef.

Because your with ATI your limited with 3d. But your not limited to how many monitors you can have

if you sell your 5970 and get a SLI 460gtx setup, you will have enough money left over for a 3d surround setup. Which i do recommed. Its 3 monitor setup with 3d

Both are good

Triple screen 3d is amazing but very expensive for a quality experience on PC using nVidia e.g. SLI...

Try one 24" 3D monitor first

3D surround you want GTX 480 SLI as a minimum from the little i've managed to gather about such a setup.
it needs SO many pixels to be pushed.

Thank I would like to try out what 3D is like though don't know or how much the 5970 can sell for since I got this July, will have a look on those link you provided
