I'm completely new to overclocking, though I managed to get my new Athlon 6400+ up to 3.5GHz (it comes as a 3.2GHz so that's all I'd expect) but now I'm nervous about the voltages/temperatures. I'm using a Scythe Ninja HSF (bought because the processor came as the Black Edition without a HSF and I'd heard that it was quiet).
Shortly after taking the screenshot @3.5GHz the whole system crashed. I'm using Vista 64-bit. In the images Folding@home is running, set to use 100% of idle cycles at lowest priority but it doesn't work properly on dual cores yet.
@3.5GHz (Overclocked)
@3.2GHz (Stock configuration with settings in BIOS set to 'Auto')
Is the CPU voltage too high? Too low? Are there any other voltages I need to change?
Why is HT Link slower on the overclock?
Should I alter my RAM voltages and clocks as well?
Recommendations?
