Err am I the only one seeing something different? Her behaviour changing near the time she is about to go back to her country sounds to me like a polite way to break up and end it.

I agree with this. Definitely don't move to canada as its a massive decision and also an enormous risk on your part for something that to be fair, just doesn't sound like its worth it. 9 months is nothing, especially if your having to big arguments and made some truly daft decisions in the start of it anyway.
