I want to get a wide (ish) low light lense for my 350D. As it needs to be low light will end up being a prime. Currently i'm looking at:

Sigma 30mm F1.4
sigma 24mm F1.8 EX DG
Cannon EF28mm f1.8 USM

and wanted to get your views and any other recomendations, must be under F2 and £300. So far the Sigma 30mm seems to have the best reviews on the net but it not a FF lense which puts me off slightly.

I have had a quick look at that one but am a bit put of by the weight and size. Ideally i was looking for something like my 50mm F1.8 but a bit wider 20 - 30 range. This should allow me to take indoor shots of building easier and the odd group photo at parties.

The reason i want a low light lense is that i normaly don't find it practical to carry a tripod unless i know there is a particular reason. Generally it's easier to carry an extra lense than a tripod, even if the results won't win me an awards.

I realise none of these lense will be that wide on my camera but they should increase the viewing angle by 50% to 100% compared to my 50mm F1.8.

Thinking about going for the Sigma 30mm F1.4 as quite a few people on fredmiranda have raved about it assuming i can get a good copy.
