Hi guys and girls!
I'm looking getting a new telly, my budget is ideally no more than £300 which I appreciate limits my options.

Currently I cant decide between a named brand 1080p like the LG 43LF590V for £280. Or a cheap brand 4k, like the Argos Hitachi 43" UHD 4k smart TV (43HGT69U) for £300.

Not sure what would be best! I'd appreciate any advice or TV recommendations!

Thanks! :)

Thanks so much Sonny!
That looks really interesting! Never heard of the brand, thanks a lot for sharing it!

It says its only a 60hz refresh rate. My current set has not motion frame rate increase stuff (or whatever manufacturers call it) and I was wanting a set with one on to reduce blur in both tv/movies and gaming. Surprising it doesn't have any, do you think its really that important?

Thanks again mate! Really helpful chatting to someone in the know! :D

Thanks for the recommendation Sonny!

I actually decided 43 was too much, so I went with the Hisense H40M3300, which looks pretty good!
I am concerned about its low brightness of 250 though, but I'll see if that's an issue when I get it. I've heard brightness measurements can be very inaccurate and no one has mentioned it has low brightness in reviews so should be all good.

I suspect the software in built isn't half as good as better known brands but hey, its easy to buy a smart tv box!

Thanks again mate! :D
