Age Of Empires III: Complete Collection, worth it?

I loved it. Played it loads and bought both the expansions. Stopped only because it seemed to really dislike my win7 installation/suddenly decide it didn't like BE and stopped me from joining online games. I could quick search, host, but not join any (maybe 1 out of 50) games. Gave up trying to fix it.

Personally, I preferred it to AoE II which I didn't particularly care for. Though AoE I with Rise of Rome expansion is still my fav. RTS ever. Years of online fun :D

Just completed the base game, thoughts below:

+My sort of RTS, plenty of opportunity to build your economy and tech up
+Decent campaign that takes you through 3 different eras but with some common themes
+Reasonably forgiving approach to resource gathering i.e. Mills, Plantations, Factories, Market etc avoid situations where you exhaust all easily accessible resources (I've played some RTS where basically a map has become incompletable)
+Combat is generally fun and rewards varied unit production
+I like the home city cards that effectively let you customise upgrades, reinforcements etc

-Unit graphics aren't great, it can be hard to tell them apart sometime as they look a bit blurry
-Act 3 seemed a bit rushed/short i.e. around half the missions were over pretty quickly
-Final mission was a big let down - infinite supply of ships with massive long range attack meant there was no need to even create an army beyond that required to defend your base

All in all a pretty good game I thought for 10p, it was the first AOE game I've played since a demo of the original back in the 90s that I didn't really get on with. Will attack the expansion packs fairly soon.
