agp 2 card in agp8 slot?

fried my dl mc a few weeks ago and am getting a new cheep mobo on wed,this mobo is the MSI KT6-V SKT A AGP with an agp 8 slot,i have got an old tnt2 agp 2 card here.my question is will it work(agp2 in a agp8 slot?)
or will i need to go and get a chep agp8 card?tis just for display purposes and not for gaming at all

It will be fine mate, i had a tnt in my old a8v deluxe for a few days while my 6800GT was on order.

very informative that mate my card has 3 slots so by that guide it has 1.5v and 3.00 v support?
so hopefully it will work.had a look elsewhere for cards and i can get an 8x agp card for about £16+ if need to
