A heads-up for anybody that is needing their Air Con re-gassed. My local Kwik Fit () are doing it for £25 currently! I'm assuming this is nationwide thing so could be a good time to get it done!

Thanks for the heads-up :)

This offer certainly isn't mentioned on their web-site but I'll call my local Kwik-Fit today and see if they are offering it. If you have A/C, it might at least work well!

Incidentally, on the Kwik-Fit web-site, they have a warning that "if the ambient temperature around the car is less than 9 degrees Celsius it may affect the results of the AirCon recharge test results" - I can't quite see then why they would make this offer in January

its £25 including all that, had mine done, all is well. pluged up machince, it does everything then gives a printout to prove what has been done. oil, gas, leaktest etc

It's pretty hard to get wrong. you plug the machine in and turn it on!

Got mine done at Kwik Fit last summer and the air went warm again within a couple of days of it being done. So I got BMW to do it and it's still cool now :)

The branch also refused to give me a refund, had to write to the head office.

Did BMW give any explanation as to what exactly Kwik-Fit had done wrong and how much did BMW charge you to rectify Kwik-Fit's failure?

Don't like Kwack-fit. Mate used to work for them and things he used to say what happens there! I would never go there!
