Just had to say the hyper 212 actually does leave all ram slots clear by a few mm!

My Xigmatek DK has my i5 2500k cpu @ 4.6ghz and 1.3v max temps at 59 degrees with IntelBurnTest for 4 hours and ambient temp of 21.3c. On prime95 I don't go above 53c. Also moving from artic silver mx-3 to IC Diamond TIM has reduced my temps by 6c at load, very good stuff. Also having a large case with good airflow helps too so one persons results will not be the same as another unless all factors match I guess.

waiting on the review of the new Alpenföhn cooler, otherwise im going to risk the archon.. seems the best i can find

The hyper 212+ isn't working out for me. Linx with avx load is too much. I hit 80c. With the Frio under the same load it can't even break 65c.

I need something that will clear the ram still and fit in a antec 900
