Air cooling: TJ09 VS TJ07?

I think the TJ09 has better air cooling, but if yoru considering water then id get the TJ07. I prefer the looks of the TJ07 as well, but they both look nice :)

I am not entirely happy with my TJ07 and have replaced all the fans with noutras. With the side panel off it is distinctky cooler. As for a front fan - easily remedied with a Sythe Karma

The thing that worries me about the TJ07 is no front intake.
It's not hard to fit a 120mm front cooling fan in a TJ07
You could fit one of these Scythe Kama-Bay System Coolers http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SY-000-SY&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=399

My TJ-09 is fine with Air cooling. I ended up swapping the fans to Noctua's but that's about it, works great, quiet and cool. :)

Bugger -I know i have a hot CPU but with one side off temps drop by 8 degrees. Now have 5 120 fans 2 90 and exhaust blower.

TJ09 is great for air, and with slight modding to the top for the rad, water. I'm using a freezer 7 pro to great effect in the TJ09, I just got mine and its the best case i've ever seen, + its simply Legendary :D Go for the TJ09 you'll love it. Cool and quiet

Xyster, just a word of warning your sig has far too many lines mate. Only a 75px height sig is allowed and one line of text. Or 4 lines of text and no picture. Better change it before an admin catches you! :p

Ah thx for that dude, i'm on it...

...*coughs* jobs a good'n. I had cut the IMG text out too but forgot to follow up with the action, hence it staying in there after i sorted my text out lol

Hi,

Couldn,t agree more - just upgraded to a TJ09 from a TJ05, resulted in temps dropping by 5 degrees or so.The best thing tho is it took a whole 10-12 degrees off my graphics temps. I also have a noctua fan in the roof. As for looks of the thing - absolute simplistic beauty. You seriously can't go wrong with one of these.

.......TUT! Theres always one who likes to be indifferent :p

For me with them rolled edges, the TJ07 looks like a £35 something from a computer fair lol You can't beat the simplistic hard lines of the TJ09. Its art man i tell ya!

Air-cooling... TJ09. But if you want to go water and do it properly then buy the TJ07... even with modding the TJ09 simply isn't up to scratch.

I love my TJ09 but starting to regret it a little as I wouldn't mind going water soon and my choice of rads won't be great...

I'll be going to water when i've decided what setup i wanna go with. I've heard that if you look hard enough you can find rads that fit in the TJ09 fine.

I didn't say that you couldn't find rads that fit... I said the choice is limited and performance undoubtedly suffers as a result.

The TJ07 can fit a 120.3 and more in it.

In my experience both in cars and water cooling computers. A radiator is a radiator, nothing spectacular about any of them. So choice shouldn't limit performance

I think the vast majority of the hardcore watercooling community would disagree. :)
