Bit random, but I've owned a Webley Sport break barrel air rifle for about 7 years or something now, and I've barely used it. This has been mostly because of a complete lack of anywhere to shoot it.
I know a lot of people will say "just go into a field" and when I was younger that's pretty much what I did (there's a field at the end of my road about 50m from my house) - however having had a bit of a read about it today, that's technically "armed trespass" which carries a jail sentence and I'm not really up for being caught doing that.
I'm off to Australia in January (hopefully) for quite a long time, but between now and then I think I have quite a lot of spare time and I fancied giving it a try again.
Google popped up one or two gun clubs that I've made enquiries with and am waiting to hear back, but I just wondered if anybody else in a similar area has any good places for someone like me to go along and have a shoot. I just fancy hitting a few targets and seeing if I'm any good, that kind of thing. The rifle has a scope, so I guess something more than just the old 10m ranges would be better.
Looking for somewhere around Milton Keynes / Aylesbury / Luton (but not inside Luton preferably
haha) and I don't mind paying a couple of quid each time if it saves me from paying a membership fee. Possibly also looking for a lesson or two as well if possible.
So, anyone got any ideas or tips?
