Definately.. A really good set-up, I like your coloured theme in your Akasa, very effectiveThe_Vindicator said:Thanks,
It looks a bit different now tho.
Where did you get grommits...C64 said:Am back to normal now done a few minor alterations as well
Also have installed the hdd on rubber grommets i have had to pull apart/bend a tiny bit the cage so i can fit these in made a huge difference to the sound reverberation
Will do the floppy drive bay which i have an ide hdd in with an akasa hdd cooler
to increase airflow from the front intake it's basically totally unblocked and dvd tomorrow the grommets are from this nexus case quietening kit
Cheers C64..C64 said:Oh you can buy black hard drive grommets from a well known high street store i didn't know you could at the time and was mugged into getting the nexus quietening kit.

Wow.. Great pic... how did it affect temps in case, any daylight pics, nice job..azteched said:Thanks for the idea, just set up my new rig - used the blue Akasa fan in the Kama Bay after seeing this thread last week!
Looks great, imo Happy with temps too, and compared to my old xp2800 it's silent.
Looking very much towards new pics..SGWills said:thanks i impressed myself to be honest its still being touched up but expect pics of the side panel plus full system when its finished
Nice setup.. Would probably loose the floppy drive, bit redundant nowadays and will keep your cables down to a minimum, again nice rigSnapshot said:
I hope it'll get a bit tidier when I've finished. Only one HDD in there at the moment but another two are planned so the their cables are floating about. Similarly the 7600GT with Zalman VF900 is also only temporary as I'll be swapping it with the 8600GT in current no. 1 PC. The rest of it is GA-P35-DS4, Q6600, Ultra 120 Extreme with Scythe 1200, another Scythe 1200 at the back and a 1600 at the front with a 15 ohm resistor to cut it down to 1400. PSU is a Corsair 520.
Any pics... Tom84Tom84 said:Snapshot is your Eclipse one of the new variations? It looks to have a much more mat based finish to it than mine
I guess it could just be your camera making it look that way though.
Nice build M8.. Definately get yourself an IDE rounded cable, will look much better.Dan7 said:Just about finished with my new build :>
Spec in sig
That X-Fi drive bay cable is the bane of my life
Excuse the (not)AWESOME red desk - rented student accom! ;p
Just got my eclipse after getting annoyed with my old thermaltake soprano, this case is quality. just so easy to work with, and the fans that come with this case are about 1 million times quieter than the ones in my soprano, i had to check if they were on when i first switched my rig on.
could anyone tell me whats the best way to remove the hard drive bay??? as i dont even use it.
Anyone got pics of the Eclipse with the HDD bay removed? Do you gain much room from doing so?
