Alan Ball dies

Very sad news, will be fondly remembered by us Exeter City fans for doing the double over Argyle in 1992/3.

RIP Alan

R.I.P :(

Had a great year managing us with a finish of 10th, getting some fantastic form out of Matthew Le Tissier. Was gutted when he jumped ship to Manchester City that summer, but at least they got relegated as a punishment for poaching...

A sad day.

Very sad, I lived near the Everton ground when he played for them and often saw him. Big Jack Charlton was almost in tears on the radio this morning as he remembered Alan Ball.
R.I.P.

Used to love going to watch Exeter when he was manager, when Ronnie Jepson was on form the games were fantastic. Standing on the big bank singing away in the rain :(

Really shocking news :( Always came across as a really nice guy whenever interviewed on the telly. A legend not that many midlfield players who had a goal average of 1 goal every other game.

Something to spur Blackpool onto promotion thats for sure, just for him.

RIP Alan. (England Legend) :( :( :(
