Alan Wake is there a confirmed release date?

Hey,

I have heard from a few places its next month, yet I asked down Game and they said they did not have a clue, so anyone actually know, or is it one of those" "its out when its out"?

Got it on pre-order, just checked the info and it's quoted as 7/7/2006. Not too sure if that's set in stone though, as I'm fairly sure it was 7/6 a couple of weeks ago.

There just made up dates I'm pretty sure theres no real date yet (check gameplay they've got it down for November!!)

We've got quite a bit of a 360 lull by the looks of the next few months only Moto GP and table tennis due between now and August/September time.

Games like Alan Wake & Gears of War you can bet a pretty penny will be coming out in November time to take the wind out of Sonys PS3 launch.
