My grandparents need a new printer, and they're also interested in a cheap and easy way to copy stuff too. So i'm looking at getting them an all-in-one jobby.

It has to be compact, under £100 if possible, and most of all very easy to use. Don't want 300 buttons on the front! It would be good if you could copy stuff without the PC being on too, is that possible?

Ta :)

I have an HP Officejet 7210 printer/scanner/copier/fax and it's very good. Have a look at the Officejets in my view as you can't go wrong, they start from about £75 upwards depending on what features your looking for.

Consumables wise they aren't to bad cost wise either.

Hope this helps :)

^^ That what I was going to say. HP have done well partly because anyone can use them. Their cartridges are a bit pricey imo at £25 or so for our model, however 3rd party replacements can be had as cheaply as £1

brother dcp 315cn are a nice all in one, girlfriend has one
they have a small desktop footprint and the paper is in a paper tray, so its all nice and tidy and you can get them for just £39

i would go for a Epson Stylus DX5000/DX5050 All In One or the Epson Stylus DX6000/DX6050 All In One
but i don't think ocuk stock many Epson printers now days. dunno why

what every you do don't buy lexmark printers, yeah the printers are at a good price but the carts are way over priced

Check the hp f380. Brilliant printer and cheap at about £40.

I had last years version (hp 1400) and ink usage was good, good quality prints (even A4 photos) and the scan quality was good too :)

All in all, a good, simple printer that does it's job well.

HP 4180c can be had for about £90ish at some places, card reader, copys without pc connection. Ink cartridges are reasonable cheap, and have a very good capacity.

Is that the same as the 4180? I can see that for £69.95

I can't see mention of a 4180... so I'm guessing its the same thing, and yes its for about £70 now... prices have gone down a lot in two months :(
