All I want to know for tomorrow is whether there's remaining Gloss units after pre-orders, because I'd likely change to one if I can't get my Matte one.

Doubt it mate, the rep said there's only "hundreds" for the first batch and I can pretty much bet over a thousand people ordered within the first few days of pre-order
 
Possibly Nutshot, I'm only going off of what a Rep told me a week ago on Twitter DM, he mentioned the Gloss units had significantly less pre-order numbers so I'm just hoping from here on, I wish the initial week/weeks of Pre-order would incite people to order more in advance (although it might not have been possible I guess) so everyone gets their rightful pre-order rather than waiting so long it hurts haha.

I'm not talking about Twitter DM I'm talking about last page where @NikTheSHNIK said that in total all coatings amounts to nearly 1k units so basically that means if you didn't pre-order in the first few days you'll be waiting till beginning of July
 
Yeah, but the point held here is that the majority of pre-orders from what I've been told are all on Matte versions, the statement is still true in that if 2000 people pre-ordered Matte & there's only hundreds across all coatings then tons of Matte pre-orders will be waiting, but that doesn't tell us the numbers of people that pre-ordered Gloss, as Matte pre-orders will not suddenly take up the numbers of other coating units for no apparent reason.

I guess have to keep hopes up but I'm pretty sure more than a few hundred ordered gloss too...he said they "nearly" have 1k units total that could mean 700/800/850/900.

My point is the pre orders must be crazy nd they don't have the numbers to fill despite the coating type... Hugely disappointing as some of us ordered in march and people ordering May 20 are getting theirs before us + extortionate delivery price. Very off putting and won't be using ocuk again
 
That's fair enough mate, like I said it's a pain because we don't know full numbers like you also said, as much as I appreciate how hard it is to keep up with mass demand, I feel like if a team has any research teams they'd know the Finalmouse & it's popular existence & be able to see ahead of time how popular the direct cheaper priced competitor would be & order appropriately, all we can do is wait now!

Well we know 100% they don't have enough as he even said if you ordered early you're in luck if not wait till next batch...which again we can't really say when it'll arrive. Mid June is pushing it.

And yeah you're spot on, I also am unhappy with the lack of transparency by ocuk when it came to the pre-order, when you pre-order something you don't expect to get it a month after release....

Sites such as caseking, where it would have been cheaper and arrived much earlier coming from Germany, I would not be so bothered about the situation if it were not for the fact that nobody has an idea of which batch people will be in, like it's some kind of area 51 secret and you just "have to wait until you receive an email, we don't know if you will even receive the email but just wait".

Looks like there was a holdup in Germany, or the bank holiday meant no staff to receive in the UK yesterday.

They waited at the UPS depot in Germany over the weekend shipped to the UK early this morning and were received around midday in the UK.

Estimated delivery to OCUK HQ is TOMORROW 29/05/2019. ETA is "before the end of the day".

I've requested a morning delivery and fingers crossed they'll sort it.

That's because they reality is 90% of people if not more are in the second wave however if you reveal this information people will be even more mad so it's better to keep it a mystery.

I can say this safely as we've been told the following

-less than a 1,000 total units first batch
-told on last page if you ordered early you'll get yours first wave.

I think within the first week they probably got over a thousand orders considering how popular this mouse is...

Also I'm sure all the specific numbers can be checked for example we could be informed how many people pre-ordered first week and that would answer everything seeing as we know the number of units they'll be receiving.

Again this isn't an attack on @NikTheSHNIK as he's been helpful but us paying customers also weren't informed we'd be waiting a month or more after release so...
