All Three One Plans to be cancelled from today

Has anybody else still not been contacted by three? Routinely hit about 10gb a month with at least half that being tethering.

havent been contacted yet. used to tether a fair bit as it was my primary net source for a year but havent this year. contracts up in march so might just be waiting me out.

ive not been contacted, use a fair bit of data on phone but very little tethering, but as above im under contract till either may or june so im guessing it might just be a case of waiting

Has anyone managed to get an official view from three on this, I'm out of contact and not received any notice yet. Don't use much Tethering - my main concern is generally I use very little Tethering but occasionally that ramps up when I am out and about and my current plan allows for that

In other news, I'm now getting 4G indoors and with it a significant improvement in connection speed :)
Routinely hitting over 1MB/s during the day whereas on HSDPA would normally top out at half that and sometimes less. Obviously HSDPA gave better speeds at night and I expect 4G will as well but I've not tested it yet.

Has something changed with the network? I've recently noticed the same. I've gone from thinking that I either couldn't get a 4G signal (due to my phone) to thinking 4G was showing incorrectly as H+, as I hadn't seen a 4G signal at all.

To getting almost full 4G at home in doors running at about 40-50Mb/s over a matter of days. I wasn't getting bad speeds with H+, but when 4G is available it's obviously preferable.

I've not had notice from Three about my One Plan but still in contract so doubt I would have. I've been having issues with dropped calls. Thought it was maybe my phone but tried my spare and it still get dropped calls. Some days good, other days ... rubbish. Quite often the call will drop for 15 to 30 seconds, or at least appear to and then suddenly reconnect so long as the caller or myself doesn't hang up. Been told in local Three Shop they're working on my local mast - now unless they have some clever Stargate cloaking device, I've never seen anyone. Also according to Network Signal app my phone can connect to any of 5 masts in a 12 mile radius (I'm in the sticks) rather than the one on my doorstep  I'm not really sure how accurate that app is?

I've been giving the EE Dan and Phil payg sim a try and although I really need more calls to be sure yet I'e not had the problem and the mrs says the calls on EE have been a lot clearer. I've now got my PAC and porting my number to the EE payg for now. Plenty of data and calls on that 'limited' sim so I'll see how it goes until it expires. Number should have ported yesterday according to EE but at 6pm got a text to say the number transfer has been successful and will now complete on Monday

So what's going on for the people who haven't been contacted? I am not getting broadband fitted till the 30th, so I'm tethering till then. Nothing has changed on my online account and I've had no contact at all.

Riddle me this. I have the One Plan with my GS4. The phone broke last night and my friend lent me his Tab 2 7.0 which he used as a phone with 3 for 6 months. Calls, texts and the internet have been working fine but around an hour ago (when I left a WiFi zone) the internet stopped working. It said it had detected it's been put into a tablet or dongle. They say there is nothing they can do, is this true? It's a phablet, it has telephony features. Would this have happened if I had put it into a Note? Any work around?

Its not a phablet though so that may be why its happened. No it wouldnt have happened in a note phone but probably in a note tablet

I had the same issue with a Tab S. They don't allow it. Money grabbing...

my One plan ends next week too

heard nothing so far about moving contract

If you've heard nothing how is your contract 'ending'? Do you just mean the minimum term is up? The contract doesn't 'end', the term just expires. It continues to roll on until such time as you or they terminate it.

the inference being (judging by previous posts in this thread) is that when minimum term ends three dont allow people to carry on with it and get in touch to let them know what their new contract will be.
I've heard nothing from them so assume my one plan won't dissapear

No that isn't correct. My minimum term ended last October and they didn't contact me. However they are going through the contracts and I decided to preempt it to get the £15 deal which I did in February. My suspicion is if you start using tethering to any level after your term is completed then they will contact you but not really sure Tbh
