I agree with the guy who says his girlfriend is his best friend, I am in the same situation. I've been going out with my girlfriend for almost 8 years and the last thing I'd want her to do is splash the cash on me, not because I don't like presents (come on, who doesn't?) but I'd rather she saved it up so we could go on holiday or get something nice done to/bought for the house. Also don't get me wrong, I like to buy things for my girlfriend but she feels the same way I do so it gets saved up and we live a better life because of it

Of course. Things will be sold for whatever someone will pay for them. While there are people who will pay £100 for something and £9900 for the label on it, there are people who will sell them that label. They'll smile and tell the emperor that he has good taste and wisdom.
