got it a few weeks ago now.
MG ZT-T 190+

I've liked these cars ever since i first clapped my eyes on them at work, it's funny i wouldn't have a 75 if you paid me, but these i love for me the styling is spot on, a very Grrrrrr look about them but also not OTT.

i had a audi a4 avant 1.9tdi before this owned it for 6 years, there was a toss up between another A4, 3series tourer (330d) or one of these.i thought i really should try another make i owned a 2.6 80 before the A4, the bm i had my eye on had gone although obviously there were others about, this one was only 14 miles away so i went and had a look and fell in love with it.

it cost me £6200 from £6500 ( i know you can get them cheaper, but this is fully loaded and MINT & not mega miles)
it came with 11 months MOT and 6 months tax FSH(dealer) and 53k on the clock.
as far as I'm concerned it's in the best colour.
it's totally mint.
1/2 leather interior.
xenons.
better of the two types of rims they come with.
satnav
air con./ climate.
cruise.
rear parking senors .
fully air bagged up, so it would be a 5star ncap rating thingy ( the only thing that stopped them from being 5 star is some of the air bags are optional, if they were std it'd be a 5 star)
roof rails
load cover + dog guard.

it has been a very well looked after car, the original owner is a founding member of a local MGOC, and he sold it to his daughter whom i got the car from.

it's fantastic to drive the seats are excellent hold you in very well and also comfortable, it sounds awesome it purrs like a kitten and raws like a tiger when you want. it cruises very nicely and quite economically and then has a good turn of pace when you want, I'm not going to convince you it's mega fast, there are a lot of faster cars than that about but with 0-60 of 8.2 sec and top steed of 137mph has 187 bhp and 245 nm of torque it is pretty quick and is a shed load faster than my old A4 tdi ;)
it handles fantastically, no doubt this is partly due to the comparison of my old car but it does handle much better again also whilst retaining a good ride quality.
i can't fault the car, the only 'down' point is totally down to me hugely unrealistic and would make it a miracle car - is the fact that I'm slinging more fuel in it a week than the A4, like i said unrealistic / stupid

hope you like !

Im not an MG fan personally, but the colour and styling look really good, congrats :)

*edit* Cool plate too - ugg :p

Given that the original buyer has clearly specced up quite a few addons, i'd imagine you could be confident that servicing and maintenance wasn't skimped on for its ownership.

:)

Trophy blue... the best colour (well, after nightfire red ;))

I prefer the 17" Straights over my 16" Hairpins, but I think the 18" Hairpins just look sooooo nice on the ZT. If they were available in the correct fitment for my car, I'd have chosen those.

I heard a ZT-T 190 on a rolling road and it was extremely quiet! I had to go and stand right next to the exhaust to be able to hear it and even then it was still hard to hear. Did sound nice under load though!

Enjoy it!

thats partly the reason for the purchase, there aren't many about with dealer stamps - for obvious reasons, this has + the original invoice of work done.
I've looked at a few with '50k' on the clock stamped service book non dealer using the 'rover went bust' reason, but the wear on the seats and stuff tells a different tail, i nearly got one march last year with 100+k on it (cheap) and the wear was less than on some '50k''ers I've seen.

like i said, i know you can get them cheaper, this one's mint, dealer stamped service book, fully loaded and clearly very well looked after - worth that bit extra i think

i'll sort some interior pics soon

i've been treating her with lots of clearing goodies. there is a 3 4 2 at a large well know chain of car accessories shop on all cleaning gear. ;)

Nice motor my boss has a MG ZT 190 5 door thing, can't believe though all that power and that 0-60 time.

It's not that bad for its weight.

The ZS180 is only a second quicker. I bet the ZT is geared for crusing rather than pure performance though.
