    They are a beastie of a heatsink. Love the look of the black one and quite like the white one although I would never buy white components.

    Love how the heatpipes and heatsink are tilted backwards / offset to the rear respectively. Assuming this is to allow for taller heatsinks on the RAM?

    I've fit the Brocken 3 to my AMD 2700X, keeps it nice and cool. Installation was also very easy, even got an Alpenfohn branded screwdriver so I could reach a screw through the heatsink!

    The fans ruin the aesthetics of the actual cooler, IMO, I can't stand fans the protrude past the actual cooling block.

    I'd be too tempted to go without them if I got one of these :)

    Yep it doesn't block any of the ram slots so you can use tall ram without any issues.

    Hnnnnng, looks a good cooler. I ended up buying a Cryorig R1 Ultimate from OcUK a few weeks back for a fair chunk more than these cost, similar cooling within a few degrees of each other too judging by the reviews!!
