Altec Lansing MX5021 or Acoustic Energy Aego M 2.1?

A friend of mine wants some computer speakers for music, and has around £100 to spend, so isn't after anything really hifi.

Has anyone heard both the Aego's and MX5021's? I'm thinking the MX5021's are probably better but has anyone here heard a pair?

Also, where can I get specs on these units?

Aego Ms are brilliant, I would seriously recommend them

Well as a brand, I respect Altec more, but it seems they are no longer available! So it looks like it's gonna have to be the Aego's.

Good choice, I had them in black. For pc speakers they are really good however they pale in comparison to bookshelfs

I have the aego's and I absolutely love them for 100 pounds you can't go wrong. They also look really good in black too.
