am i pushing it going for a 24 inch screen?

hey guys

just built my i5 rig:

core i5
gigabyte p55m-ud2
corsair dominator 4 gig
ocz 500 w powersupply
coolmaster haf 922

planning on gettin a zotac gtx 260 and a samsung syncmaster 24 inch screen

will i be ok for allittle gaming on this screen or will this GPU not cope?

reasons for 24 inch screen:

use it for CAD
films
xbox

enythoughts? GPU suggestions for around £120-40

Well i'm using a HD3650 and a samsung 23" on 2048 x 1152 in farcry 2 although with low specs it runs fine!

Look at the 4890 for that price. Or get that 260.

A gtx 260 would be grand at 1920x1200, ran an 8800 gts 512 on a 24" lcd prior to my gtx 280.

GTX260 is a great card, you may not have all the bells'n'whistles but you will have plenty of eye candy to keep you happy.

A few of my online gaming clan friends are running the GTX260 on 24 inch + screens no problems at all at really good fps and high graphics settings. So in short... you'll be fine

You should be fine, im running CoD4 a 24" on a agp 6800 with a P4 and i have no problems.
