Yeah, but if your very old bike is a CG125 or something like that *1 as long as it's not blowing blue smoke or sounding rattly it's in perfectly good condition and you'll be able to sell it for about the same amount when you move up, and you will want to move up, if only to a 250 or 500 because 125s are dangerously underpowered.

*1 Stay away from KH 125s - I had two engines go on mine in exactly the same way. *2
