Linda, unfortunately you are fighting a losing battle.

Its a case of put up or ignore on here.

A lot of the posts are from little boys who prefer to hide behind their keyboards ;) (just making a general observation :o)

Unfortunately you have to sort the **** from the **** and take everything with a pinch of salt. :p

I suppose there should be an element of respect from all those who choose to post on any forum. After all you wouldn't walk into a room and start using offensive terms in front of others that you didn't know, or I wouldn't anyway.

Having said that, there is no hard and fast rule as to what offends someone so it is likely that no matter what kind of expressions you use there will always be someone who will take it to heart.

This. I've not personally seen anything in my time here? Then again I don't get offended easily which is why I'm enjoying the oz and nz way as they don't seem to give a crap what they say and I love it after growing up in the UK! People just say what they think and don't dodge round the subject even if it offends someone. Makes knowing where you stand with people really easy.

I heard a radio advert the other day where instead of "You've tried the rest, now try the best" the guy promoting his shop said "Bugger the rest, come have the best!". Made me chuckle. I also hear the odd swear word on the radio and no-one cares. It's so laid back I love it. In the UK the Daily Mail would be up in arms.

Unfortunately like with all forums someone will say something that they feel is so "outrageous" they'll stand out, people post to attention seek and so forth.

It's an internet forum though, you shouldn't take it to heart really.

To BB I know and understand that being an educated ethnic minority comes with it's downfalls. I know that those that dare name call on here are only exhausting the fact that they wouldn't dream of name calling in real life because they are good little boys and girls...awe! aren't they so cute

A trap? I merely just want to know more about what exactly is affecting you, or are you just wanting to start another racism discussion /yawn
