AM2 Stock Fan is silent! Good for ocing?

Well, the am2 stock fan is silent which is brilliant, and im wondering whether it would be good for ocing? and wuold it become louder if the 3200+ was overclocked?

yeah it will become noisier on oc going up to a max around 5000rpm (if I remember correctly). I don't think it was that noisy but my hearing is rubbish so I can't say objectively whether it is unbearably noisy or not!!

There are reports of a high pitched whine from some am2 coolers due mainly to the design ie spacing of the cooling fins and the way the air flows through them.
