I've been waiting to pull the trigger for a few weeks now but the motherboard instability and memory stuff scares me.

I shall keep that in mind, cheers Gibbo :)

Crosshair is best clocking board.
Though Asrock Taichi is the best clocking board for the money, we have hit 3000MHz memory stable and 4.0GHz with 1700 processor, so it is really close to Crosshair but is £100 cheaper, so in a way it is also a really amazing buy too.

For the money which is the best value in your opinion? Also which one would you buy if overclocking memory was the main thing you wanted? I am interested in Ryzen but the gaming performance not being all that does bother me and has made me think to find a used 6700k and delid that, pocket the money and wait for Zen+.

Thought Taichi is only about £40 cheaper, or am I missing something?

any 1700 OC'd bundles?
Yes I am doing exactly this. Been working on it afew days now with several options. The only issue is AM4 cooler brackets ones these come in I am launching this product.

The best two boards for high CPU and memory I tried so far is CH6 and Taichi..... These are my favorite options so far.

Excellent news. Thats my problem too as Antec want proof of my AM4 purchase before they will ship me an AM4 bracket for my H1200.

Will my H1200 handle an OC'd 1700 without the fans spinning up into oblivion?
